The Dauian Anti Xi Protests were a series of anti-government protests funded by Aeland Belaov rebels which took place on 21st August to 26tht August 2022.

The goal was to disrupt daily life in Seragaan and cause unrest.

Background

A secret group of Aeland Krasno acitivists snuck into Daau on the 2nd of July 2021 by boat into the Port of Light, Rajokangaj. The group of activists started contacting politicians which were against the current state leader, Xi Bing Jin. The group was quickly growing in size and graffiti about the group was seen almost everywhere in Daau.

The reason to "attack" Xi Bing Jin was because Xi had reached out to Krasnovlac and kickstarted relations with them, also publicly supporting the anti-Aeland independence movement.

Protests

On the morning of 21st August 2022, about 5000 protesters stormed into the Administrative Building and started hanging up Aeland Belaov flags and spraying their mottos everywhere, security quickly joined in and the whole scene was a mess as brawls were happening and people were running around. The protestors were then rebuffed by the 7th Resimen as they moved into Inner Seragaan for defence. More protestors would join in and the building's lobby would soon be a battlefield as torn Aeland Belaov flags were seen everywhere and glass pieces were also everywhere.

Following the fall of the Daau Administrative Building, Xi Bing Jin was seen departing his office and leaving for the countryside as his car was struck with rocks and other objects. The protestors would continue to cause rampage in Inner Seragaan that day as shots were fired and protestors were seen fleeing.

A later report stated that 15,450 protestors were there on the 21st.

The protestors held their ground in Inner Seragaan, forming a defensive barracade around the Seragaan Central Highway. The government offices near the area were evacuated and all data was wiped.

The "battle" would go on for another 2 days before the 7th Resimen and the police broke through the barracade, storming into the district and arresting every protestor in their way. The area was quickly cleared out on the 24th.

The protestors would then fight on till the 31st as they disrupted life in Seragaan, chanting "Free Aeland Belaov" on buses and MRT trains. The main stand-off came on the 25th when the 7th Resimen faced a force of 18,000 protestors in the Weidong Mall Station, where the resimen quickly fought off the protestors with better equipment and tactics, the protestors which were crowing out the place began to frantically run away from the scene to escape the wrath of prison. Out of the 18,000 on that day, 15,231 were arrested and were given a fine of 50,000 for public damages and disrupting normal life.

On the 31st of August, the group announced the operation as a failure and they would secretly retreat out of Daau on Snekchet.

Assasination Attempt

On the night of 24th August, a protestor managed to sneak his way into Xi Bing Jin's house and attempted to murder Xi in his bedroom, however the protestor was quickly spotted and was killed on the spot in result of him attacking a bodyguard. The protestor was identified as an Aeland Belaov resident. The attempt was called off and the remaining protestors who tried to storm their way in were also prosecuted from his house.

Aftermath

The protests and their actions made the hate towards Aeland Belaov even more from the Dauian citizens and Xi Bing Jin publicly wrote a speech to verbally attack those who started the protest.

The protests also resulted in a mass emigration wave of Dauian-Aeland citizens as they were discrimiated everyday due to the protests.

Oke Yukitawa, Shan Makan and Toyo Yamaigha were all arrested while trying to escape Daau. They would be soon identified as the group's founders and were transferred back to Krasnovlac for criminal charges.

Casualties

As result of the massive violence used by the protestors, 2 civilians died during the protestors attempt to defend the Weidong Mall and 6 Aeland Belaov Protestors also died during the protests.
