Re: 2022 friendlies
*played 16th July*
Mercury 0-0 Normark
Normark travelled to Taylor to face neighbours Mercury ahead of their first major competition appearance in 10 years, playing out a goalless draw in only the second meeting between the two sides, matching the result of their 2011 encounter. The visitors had a gilt-edged early counter attacking chance, but the shot fizzed just wide of the net, while at the other end, Mercury could have snatched a lead midway into the second half, however neither goalkeeper was provided with any major challenges as the minutes bled away towards an unremarkable conclusion.

Re: 2022 friendlies
*Played 16th August*
Calbion 0-1 Craitland
90' - Dräsen I.
Craitland's late summer trip to Pentyre ultimately saw a clash between the Benacia Cup winners and the brand new CiboTap champions Calbion. After making a number of changes days after their successful final, Craitland faced a squad of Calbain players fresh off the back of a couple of weeks' celebration. Those factors led to a match that wasn't the most exhilarating, with both sides' defences performing well for the majority of the game. However, the final minutes saw a deciding goal for the Craits scored by Dräsen, whose spring-heeled finish caught Calbion's defence unaware as Alexis Proteņ's cross was a pinpoint delivery for his striking teammate's outstretched foot. The CTFA champions will surely not mind this inconsequential defeat after their earlier successes this summer, though.
