Re: Archive
It's a brilliant resource: http://micras.org/archives/
But notice, Luc, that each map's URL bears the series numbers, e.g. http://micras.org/archives/bigworldb-v13.1.1.png They are uploaded right to the modern day: http://micras.org/archives/bigworldb-v15.0.6.png Is the latest one. So if you change the URL, you can in theory see all the maps.
The problem is they are not listed on that page, so an update would be great, and potentially make it part of the update process (i.e. Admin/cartographer updates map; uploads as the above URL; posts on forum, all as happens now; then, in addition, it is added to the archive page).

Re: Archive
The only person who can update the page is Ari as he has the access. If I were more technology-savvy, I'd definitely be interested in updating the archive list (even if it's just linking directly to the images, without the nation details). Pretty glad that the images are working by changing the numbers in the links though; I remember trying it before and not working, but perhaps the numbers I was putting in were for maps that weren't actually made and skipped between series
Re: Archive
The problem is there, Crait: without a directory, we have no idea of how many maps are in each series. If you compare the number of maps in, for example, Series 6, 8 and 11, there's quite a variety. I don't know what the rules are at the moment about how that number is determined.

Re: Archive
That's true. I could always make-up a list of which maps actually do exist and link them from a thread on this forum somewhere for easier access, which could be an easy fix before we get the website sorted?
The series generally run all the way up to ##.9.9 before then advancing to the next ##.0.0, but the general sorta reason for skipping straight to the next series without filling the rest is if there are a lot of changes in one update. I generally say anything with ten or more claims is worthy of skipping a series due to the map looking considerably more different between those two updates

Re: Archive
Interesting, thanks for the insight. Yes, such a forum post was exactly what I had in mind.

I think all of the ones from before Series 13 are missing.Kaiser Stan I wrote:It's a brilliant resource: http://micras.org/archives/

Re: Archive
Fair do's. The changing-the-URL thing is mostly for new maps though, all the old ones are here, fortunately
Re: Archive
If you can upload it, I can make up a simple HTML page that you can update in a basic word processor like Notepad on which you can organize the archived maps.
