Terrain Map

Well, since there seem to be general support for me as the new Junior Cartographer, I may as well start doing something productive mapping wise.

Some of you have seen the Terrain map I made for Gralus, in consultation with Bayen. Now, this certainly isn't something I could just arbitarily do for the whole of Micras and I wouldn't want to - this is far more detailed than the Physical Map - it's the terrain of the nation almost exactly as the nation itself envisages it. But if people are interested, I'm more than happy to do a Terrain map for your nation, and, if enough people are interested, perhaps I can put what I have together and show a big Terrain Map that actually has the terrain of large parts of Micras shown. But only if people want that.

As you can see, for nations that I'm not doing the terrain for, I just leave your general city location with an overlay of the Physical Map, as an extremely rough guide. So it's quite possible to do half the world's Terrain and just publish that, with the other half just marked as the Physical map ...

So if anyone's interested, either reply here, or pm me. Just be prepared to explain what terrain you have/want in enough detail for me to be able to do it ... though as perhaps you can guess, comparing Toketi's land, which Bayen did, to Novatainia's land, which I did, that you can have quite varying levels of detail and it still looks effective. This is also a great resource for more indepth Recwarring ...

And I'll make a more pastel colour map :P It's flashy, and because of that it's hard to find anything :P

Easily enough, though for a lot of nations the .... well, for Gralus, some of the locations of things are determined by nearby cities (like Hunter's Valley is by a river etc ...)

That’s some amazing mapping you got going there. I'd really appreciate one of those for Ocia :).

If you are wondering Ocia has an extremely monotonous climate with its highest peak mount Slavnik reaching 11 200 ft. There is also a major Ravine between Directrus and November City.

I'll do one for Ocia with that info in mind soon
