Blore Heath is under control of Interland, but there will be only 200 policemen to keep it safe. Blore Heath is declared NEUTRAL!Ok, Blore Heath was absolutely civil. No military units! I repeat - no militaries on the land!

OOC: Do you have 200 police in your orbat? If not, you need troops on the ground to do something like that.pawelabrams wrote:Blore Heath is under control of Interland, but there will be only 200 policemen to keep it safe. OOC: ssshhh... the commandos and marines are officially called "the police" to make the situation stable... You imagine what would the people make if they had known that people caring about the order are in fact real soldiers of the enemy?

High Commander Babs was woken at 3am by a telephone call to his mobile, which he kept under his bed. The caller ID told him that it was Paweł Abramowicz, the President of longstanding Beaugian ally, Interland.
'Pawel, why the PRH are you phoning me at 3 in the morning?'
'Well,' resonded Pawel, 'We want to move on from Blore Heath, so we need someone to take hold of it for us'.
'And that person is me.'
'Yes.' It was evident from Pawel's tone of voice that he was exhausted, and that he had probably not slept since the invasion of the Bosworthian colony.
There were a few moments of silence, before Babs acknowledged Pawel's request, and agreed to relieve him of Blore Heath.
'I owe you one,' said the Interlandian President, and the line went dead.
Babs realised that he was not going to get back to sleep and so reached for his phone once more, and rang Commander Beresford in Guardian.
'Mobilise the troops. We're off to help Interland in Blore Heath.'
'The Bosworth place?' queried Beresford.
'Yes, no more questions there isn't time. See you in Guardian.'
'Yes Sir.'
'Oh, and get a helicopter to pick me up from the chateau. I'll have the helipad cleared for it.'
'Yes Sir.' Again, the line went dead.
Over the course of the next four hours, Babs travelled from the mountains near Madness to Guardian in Baylissita, to be greeted by Commander Beresford and the troops, already assembled.
'It's about 280 miles to Blore Heath itself on foot Sir, we should have everybody in place by lunchtime tomorrow, dusk for those heading right to the other side of the colony. Those on foot should cross the border at around dawn. The chaps in the trucks will be in Blore Heath by midnight and we'll take possession of the colony from Interland there.'
'Sounds reasonable. Is it an armoured personnel carrier or an open tour bus job?'
'APC I believe Sir, however the civilians belive we're police, not enemy troops.'
'Rightey-ho. Let's shake a leg then.'
The convoy set off at five minutes to nine, with its crosshairs firmly fixed upon Blore Heath.
SUMMARY: Beaugian troops have left Guardian and are expected to arrive at midnight. Their arrival will be announced.

Bosworth might not be fighting but I didn't hear anything about Nova England... anyway it makes no sense for my harpoons to be fired and not be mentioned again.
2 Harpoons*5 ships (S.S. Inevitably Destructive In All Circumstances, YMS Omen II, YMS Foxy Blur, YMS Vanguard XI, YMS Vanguard XII) = 10 Harpoons fired at Joe's fleet.
YMS Bangkirn and YMS Binkang launch depth charges to counter any possible assault by the HMNS Hemp.
Summary: Damage report for Joeseph's fleet as above.24 Hour Rule
(28 Harpoons fired at Joseph's fleet)
Hits/Misses:
-9 Harpoons confused-and-fell-harmlessly-into-the-sea/destroyed
-6 Harpoons hit the HMNS Arcaviir dead on, 1 skims the port deck and explodes causing minimal damage, 1 hits the deck but fails to explode
-3 Harpoons hit the HMNS Freedom, 2 hit but skim causing minimal damage
-5 Harpoons hit the HMNS Divinity, 1 hits but fails to explode
Damage Report:
Arcaviir severely crippled and on fire in several places on the deck
Freedom mostly operational except forward guns and comms which took a slight beating
Divinity badly damaged on its side, engine failure leaving it temporarily immobile
"Offer them a surrender." Benkern interjected. "If they agree to give us their ships for repair back at Mar Sara, I promise to allow them to live the war out comfortably in a nice POW camp. Drop some depth charges in case that sub gets any more ideas and fire a smaller volley of harpoons, just in case they don't get the message quite yet."

SUMMARY: Well, now what?"Aw, Son of a Whore!" Prodigy cried loudly as the gunships landed next to the Batavian troops.
The Batavian CO nodded to the cyborg commander. An interesting experience, meeting a cyborg in the flesh... bit of an eccentric.
"Yes sir, Amorica is under Batavian control," the CO said with a heavy Batavian accent.
Prodigy looked up from the ground, hopeful. "Lannion?"
"Still a smoldering pile," replied the officer.
"La Roche?"
"Your Steward Jacobus is taking care of the refugees already."
Prodigy visibly slumped at the Chelkran soldiers looked around, slightly annoyed.
"Well, fuck," cursed Prodigy under his breath, looking around Amorica. "What now?"

Summary: My forces move to La Roche-Derrien. Drones scout for any possible resistance before my ships berth and my marines establish a beach head. My planes and copters will attack anybody trying to attack the ship. If we encounter no resistance, some of the Melangians will go into town and talk with the inhabitants about this being a peaceful occupation for their own good. We expect the communist revolutionaries may be able to help us in that regard.Mel'Kar had had men doing some investigating around the port. It seemed that though no Bosworthian resistance was in sight, no Shirithian troops were in La Roche-Derrien. It was time to do something about that, he thought ...

Lt. Jacobs waived his cap in the air.
"The Melangians are here!! The Melangians are here!" He shouted until he was near hoarseness. "Thank Sakat, and Whoever."

HMNS Arcaviir, 25km From La Roche-Derrien.
Josephus was greatly upset as the Praetoriani Guard was helped by Captain Jhodes in pushing the king into HMNS Hemp. The Fleet had been badly outnumbered and unable to hold back any more advances from the enemy forces. Hence why without any concerns the Guard had decided to save Josephus by quite literatly lifting him from his quarters and bundling him on to the Submarine. He was only joined by Colonel Simmonds, Deodatus and a small compliment of Praetoriani Guard.
Meanwhile the Captain paced the Bridge as he saw the nation's only major fleet oblitorated by what seemed to him as a swarm of death and destruction.
'By the good Grace of King John I and with the Sword of Christ Almighty we shall not allow these Heathens to take away the life of our king and so many of our breathern. To Arms my Brothers! Deux Vult!' Jhodes shouted at his men. He was met by a chorus of Naval personel chanting 'Deux Vult!' whilst the Fighter Pilots cheered 'Caelum Denique!' for Heaven would soon be aproaching the majority of these men but by the Lord Almighty and with the might of their faith they knew that they would go down in one big fight.
HMNS Divinity though damaged targeted the Heathen's greatest ship on the battlefield and unleashed a fury of the ships compliment of 8 Harpoon Missiles and what remained of it's 4.5 Inch Gun at S.S. Inevitably Destructive In All Circumstances. HMNS Freedom seemed to be taking on troops from the Guard and some of the marines that wouldn't fit into the Fire Force's mass fleet of Helicopters on the deck of HMNS Arcaviir. Freedom was already pulling back and following HMNS Hemp to the fallback positions that had been offered thanks to their kin near by. However the Captain had decided to leave a parting present of the ships 8 Harpoon Missiles also fired towards S.S. Inevitably Destructive In All Circumstances. HMNS Arcaviir in an attempt to land as many of it's Fire Force Compliment as possible had allowed it's officier to fuel the battalion's helicopters and make haste for the nearest land.
Summary:
HMNS Divinity and Freedom Fire off eight Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles each. HMNS Divinity has also fired off her 4.5 Inch gun all projectiles targeted at S.S. Inevitably Destructive In All Circumstances.
HMNS Hemp and Freedom are oncourse at full speed to the Willow, The Home Islands [Britannia/Nova England]. The Fire Force compliment onboard HMNS Arcaviir is scrambling from the ship via their helicopters to Gascon Countryside....
6 Harpoons Destroyed
2 Hit and add further damage to HMNS Divinity
2 Hit HMNS Arcaviir's hull and damage the engine
It had been nearly two hours since the last foot soldiers reached the Western side of the Bosworthian colony of Blore Heath, and almost 9 hours since Interland had handed control of the colony to the Beaugian forces.
'How long do you expect us to be here then, Sir?' asked Commander Beresford.
'I don't know. Until the war is over I imagine.'
'Oh.'
SUMMARY:Beaugian forces have full hold of Blore Heath, leaving Interland free to head to Shrewsbury
