October 1st Forumcheck
So many errors, oh lord the errors!
Basically, loads of forums have become login only or unavailable or been deleted outright it seems
woo....
There's all the errors
Top Ten:
1)Beaugium (68.6667PPD)
2)Shireroth (66.3667PPD)
3)Morbhan (65.3333PPD)
4)Yabloko (56.7667PPD)
5)Austria-Hungary (31.2333PPD)
6)Gralus (28.2333PPD)
7)Antica (27.1333PPD)
Reunion (26.0000PPD)
9)Batavia (20.9333PPD)
10)Nelaga (18.8333PPD)
You may notice this month that lovely is nowhere near the top ten , in fact, their PPD is around -130, that is explained in this thread where it seems they lost a backup or something and hence reverted back to some point shortly before the first of july... ouch...
I just had an idea while writing the top ten, what would you guys and girls think about having little awards on the forumlist for top ten most active? little images saying "Beaugium, 1st Most active micronation, September 2010" and "Shireroth, 2nd Most active micronation, September 2010" etc, each month could maybe be a different style award, all a little image, always the same size, and then on the nations's page on the forumlist it could display all the little awards the nation has got? I only just thought of this idea, so it's very open to changes and refinement...

Re: October 1st Forumcheck
Hey if you want to so why not, it's your list after all. The only problem I have with the list (a mild problem) is that anything counts as activity. I can make 100 bs posts in one month and bump Antica a couple of places.

Yeah, I think it would encourage spamming. Plus it would be the same few winning most months anyway. Maybe make a new page for awards and stuff - could even put in national and citizen-specific awards from the FNORDs and stuff on there too.

I thought that was what you were doing already. You mean all of that was supposed to mean something?Hey if you want to so why not, it's your list after all. Re: October 1st Forumcheck
How about if it were annual? or semi-annual?
100bs* posts would only boost Antica* one place in the monthly rankings, in annual rankings it would take a lot more to boost anywhere?
*both of those used simply as examples as you already gave them as example.
Annual rankings would, however, require the nations to have been around all year... and would probably encourage the existence of spam boards which I dislike and I'm fairly sure I share that opinion with some other people
An awards recording system would be really handy for FNORDs and stuff though, citizen specific ones are harder to deal with, I've tried before to make citizen lists and generally the idea is seen as being not good (see also glowing red rectangle)
I think as first priority I need to finish the wiki system part, then I can work on awards or citizen lists...

Opinions: Everything else. The whole idea, the priority of wiki system part, how annual rankings would encourage spam boards, the handyness of an award recording system
Joking: None
Emotion:
Spelling & Grammar: 100% I would like to think, but i think it's probably a bit less.

Glad to see Gralus and Nelaga are back up there.
